As far as it goes, this is directly related to the fact that by and large women are not held accountable for their behavior. (Or at least not nearly as much as men). If they were called to task for throwing tantrums (emotional outbursts) I bet money we would see far less of them. Instead men have been told to “deal with it” because it’s “female nature” to be so “emotionally driven” and lash out. And then they are told to be supportive and understanding. (Which is basically telling them to suck it up) Of course no woman is ever told to just “deal with” a man that cheats, or physically abuses her. But emotional abuse put on a man from a woman? Perfectly fine. 121 BuenaVista says: August 28, 2014 at 3:11 pm Liz: “I don’t know BV…maybe a straight-jacket?” For them … or their men? 122 Sir Nemesis says: August 28, 2014 at 3:17 pm @ Bloom #110 I didn’t mean step in at the time, or for a particular woman, I meant would it work for men to peer pressure such men to stop doing that in general? Maybe that’s a woman thing, the herd not approving as a means of controlling bad behavior? Maybe I am not expressing this well. https://input.scs.community/s/Fu6YJoSM95 https://hedgedoc.catgirl.cloud/s/ruYUJ_SYOE https://pad.riot-os.org/s/n2oA19QloF https://hackmd.openmole.org/s/IyZjxUeb0 https://pad.codefor.fr/s/SwvrWgDU6j https://md.inno3.fr/s/HIBkNeOvy https://md.ctdo.de/s/MDbZpIBqtu https://md.linksjugend-solid.de/s/3R0th4yiR https://pad.karuka.tech/s/EpiLtg89j https://md.coredump.ch/s/JRxYHIPTB https://md.swk-web.com/s/A-GUD9W8S
